-- We are hiring a BOH team member joining us who is going to focus on pastry-related prepping and execution. This job work closely with our executive chef to execute our dessert menu, also will spend some time to do R&D with our chef.
-- We are looking for experienced team member who worked in professional kitchen before, and we don't need to teach you how to navigate kitchen and basic pastry skills. and you are interested , curious, and / or have some experience for Asian pastry.
-- if you do have capability to help on prep for savory dishes, we do have more hours for prepping

[Open position - GTE Baker / Pastry Chef Work Hours & Job Responsibilities]

This position is managed directly by our Executive Chef.

-- Your Role Includes:

:
Youll be responsible for preparing our current dessert offerings for nightly service, following established recipes and techniques.

Youll help refine and finalize new dessert recipes, develop SOPs, and eventually take on the day-to-day execution independently.

Were looking for someone who already has baking experience and is excited to explore Asian-style dessert ideas alongside our chef.

Some of the desserts youll be working on include:
Cake rolls, milk bread, cheesecakes, cookies, panna cotta, doughs, and other breads.

-- Work Schedule:
Initial Training Period:
Youll begin by working alongside our Executive Chef, Wednesdays to Saturdays noon~4pm , possibly on tuesdays too

After Training:
Once youre able to execute recipes independently, youll shift to starting earlier in the morning and spending the afternoon with
the rest of the kitchen team.

Available Hours:
WednesdaySaturday, 9:00 AM 4:00 PM
Youll start with fewer hours and gradually increase based on your ability to execute independently, your prep speed, and the needs
of the kitchen.

[JOB REQUIREMENT]
- Must have at least 1 year of professional kitchen experience
(Baking or pastry-specific experience preferred)

- Asian dessert experience is not requiredbut you should be excited to learn, explore, experiment, and grow with us :)

- We prefer candidates who have worked in indie (non-chain) or chef-driven restaurants, or those who are eager to work and learn in a chef-driven, creative kitchen environment.
