Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Care Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor types in commercial settings. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and environmental services, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness.
• Conduct carpet cleaning using appropriate techniques and equipment to ensure carpets are well-maintained.
• Execute buffing and polishing of hard surface floors to enhance their appearance and longevity.
• Utilize proper cleaning agents and equipment while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with custodial staff to ensure all areas are cleaned according to established schedules.
• Follow environmental services protocols to promote a safe and healthy environment for all building occupants.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in floor care, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of various floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning methods.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
