As the Casino Host you will act as the acquisition marketing arm for new VIP customers in key markets - stimulating new trial to Maverick properties. Must be results-driven, with skills in building and leveraging a powerful internal and external network. The Casino Host will establish connections with customers to drive business to casino properties, you will be well informed about the marketplace, our industry, and our competition, and be confident in your ability to meet goals set forth by the management team.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining coded players through direct mail, email, telemarketing, social media platforms and leveraging companys existing databases
  • Responsible for targeting, developing, and assessing new business relationships
  • Actively participates in telephone solicitation and coordinates personalized direct communications for assigned and prospective guests
  • Clearly communicates programs/services to necessary people, seeks their support and keeps them informed of changes that may impact the business
  • Effectively delivers required growth targets
  • Maintains relationships with VIP guests through personal contact by phone and in person with the goal of increasing business
  • Actively presents creative ideas for developing a wider customer base
  • Works to utilize company resources including experiential events, engagement/participation marketing, cross-property selling opportunities, and existing customers to actively engage current or recruit new VIP players
  • Assists with special events as needed
  • Fully complies with all applicable rules, regulations, laws, and policies, and conducts themselves with the highest level of integrity and honesty
  • Cultivates internal relationships to ensure seamless on-property execution by operational teams and proactively mitigates any potential service issues
  • Sports and cultivates new ideas and methods to deliver business solutions, improve processes, or increase efficiencies
  • Keeps track of the existing products/services and/or progress on new initiatives
  • Must be knowledgeable of all happenings on-property and in market
  • Politely gives consistent, timely and accurate information and finds answers when unsure
  • Plans and creates events and community opportunities to drive awareness, and greet potential customers
Requirements
  • 1 to 3 years experience in casino/hotel, customer service, host, or telemarketing required (experience with luxury brands preferred).
  • College degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to think independently and make decisions to maximize customer service experience and program profitability.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills required
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must have a systematic and process-oriented mindset to ensure seamless end-to-end customer experiences
  • Excellent networking abilities
  • Must present well-groomed professional appearance
  • Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to obtain a gaming license
  • Must have a valid drivers license and be able to travel between properties and visit competitors as needed

**$1,000 Sign on BONUS! $500 paid 90 days after date of hire; $500 paid 180 days after date of hire **Team member must be in good standing to qualify for Bonus Pay out (no documented performance in their employee file) **
