Love books and craft drinks? Are you passionate about creating memorable experiences and fostering community? Were on the lookout for enthusiastic, outgoing, and collaborative folks to join the bar staff at our bookstore, bar, and event space! Some experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
Ensures excellence in menu quality and food preparation by:
Constant restocking bar/food items
Consistent presentation and portioning
Showing leadership with regard to safe and sanitary food handling at all times
Maintenance of clean and tidy workstations at all times, washing dishes, polishing glasses, and cleaning throughout shift
Thorough documentation of complaints, comps, errors, wasted, spoiled or incorrectly made orders through Shift Notes
Learning and maintaining a working knowledge of book inventory and community events alongside food and drinks
Memorize cocktail specs
Learn back bar, bar set up, and upselling
Learning how to locate, heat, and serve food items
