Summary:
The Team Leader Barista is responsible for overseeing daily store operations, direct reports, leading a team to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and preparation of products. This role will guide and influence, while modeling the store operations standards that define our Customer Experience. This position is responsible for delivering exceptional service and developing expertise in the creation of our products. Within the store environment, this role offers the opportunity to enhance skills in food and beverage preparation. In compliance with store operating policies and standards, this role is responsible for providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
* Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
* Manage a team, providing guidance and support for excellent customer interactions and efficient service delivery
* Daily management of production operations and team
* Perform daily audits of customer service, purchasing, labeling, dating, waste, sales, temperature, and inventory management
* Identifies areas of risk/problems advises leadership. Works on resolution while keeping leadership informed
* Initial and ongoing training of staff to ensure compliance
* Working with Manager to create team member schedules to ensure adequate coverage
WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 2 years Supervising the work of others, team building, coaching Required
EDUCATION
* High school diploma or equivalent Required
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
* Certified Food Manager certificate 30 Days Required
