Compensation & Benefits:

$18.74/Hour (Current Department of Labor Wage Determination Rate)

$19.25/Hour Shelf Stocking Duties (Current Department of Labor Wage Determination Rate)

Schedule: Sunday: 9am-3:30pm, Wednesday 9am-3:30pm, Thursday: 9am-7pm, Friday: 9am-3:30pm, and Saturday 9am-3:30pm totaling 35-40 hours per week, with Monday/Tuesday off.

Requirements:

Ability to pass NAS Whidbey Background check at time of hire and for duration of employment. Felonies prohibit base access.

A reliable custodial crew member who cleans the commissary, including floor care such as sweeping, mopping, burnishing, stripping, waxing

Prior janitorial experience preferred but not required.

Cleaning and caring for tools and equipment

Responsibilities include:

Cleaning commissary facility: removing trash, sweeping, moping, dusting, vacuuming, wipe downs, sanitation.

Floor care in commissary including sweeping, mopping, burnishing, stripping, and waxing.

Cleans lavatories and restrooms using correct chemicals on all surfaces. Dust and wipes-down fixtures, and fills dispensers.

Cleans breakrooms, hallways, common areas, offices, and training rooms.

Outside cleaning including sweeping.

Wipes down display glass throughout the store.

Stocking cases, facing product, and bailing cardboard as needed.

Putting back re shop items left by customers to the appropriate location.

Physical Requirements and Essential Functions:

Ability to endure up to 7 hours a day of standing, and walking.

Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

Must be able to reach, kneel, walk, stand and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time.

Must be able to work well with others.

Ability to understand and carry out verbal instructions.

Good time management skills. Must carry out instructions and pay attention to detail.

Maintains professionalism in both appearance and demeanor. Must wear full-length pants and close-toed shoes
