Houseperson - Full time Holiday Inn Express, Paso Robles

The Holiday Inn Express, Paso Robles is hiring for a full time Houseperson. Under general supervision performs custodial duties and minor maintenance on facility equipment and facility. Maintains premises and facility in a clean and orderly condition, delivers needed/requested items to guestroom. The Houseperson has a great deal of interaction with customers so candidate must be able to communicate in English.

JOB FUNCTIONS

*1). Performs custodial tasks such as (not limited to) sweeping, mopping, waxing, vacuuming floors, dusting and polishing woodwork, fixtures and equipment, washing windows, walls, and lavatory facilities.

*2). Operates commonly used types of power and non-power cleaning and polishing equipment.

3). Helps guests with luggage.

*4). Moves and relocates furniture, equipment, supplies, and machinery as required.

5). Performs minor preventive maintenance tasks.

6). Other related tasks upon request.

*7). Complies with all Company and Department safety policies and procedures.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1). Basic reading and writing.

2). Physical ability to perform essential functions of job.

3). To be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently.

4). To be able to climb up and down elevated surfaces frequently.

5). Ability to follow instructions.

6). Must be able to communicate with guests and coworkers in English, when required.
