**Position: Hotel Maintenance Engineer**

**Wage: \$20.00/hr**

**POSITION SUMMARY**:Under direction from the Hotel Maintenance

Supervisor, will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in

Guest rooms/suites, meeting spaces, restaurant and common areas

including building interiors and exteriors and pool.

**THESE WILL BE YOUR DUTIES:**

- Responsible for engineering and maintenance operations of the

hotel/lodge, hotel/lodge property, restaurant, meeting rooms and

grounds.

- Responds to all building related safety concerns.

- Supports hotel/lodge departmental maintenance programs and executes

daily, weekly and monthly checklists.

- Deals with Guest related concerns.

- Maintains Guest rooms, public space, and back of the hotel areas in

good repair by performing various tasks related to a variety of

trades including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, air conditioning,

painting, wall covering and tiling to ensure an attractive and

well-maintained hotel.

- Cleans and maintains pool and spa.

- Operates forklifts, scissor lifts, tractor, dollies and other basic

loading and unloading equipment as required.

- Drives vehicles to transport materials such as furniture, supplies

or equipment as required.
