Bartender - Miss Lily's - East Village

Miss Lily's 7A Rum Bar is looking for BARTENDERS with:

- At least 2 year experience of in a high volume restaurant, lounge or nightclub. Barback experience is a plus.

- Great people skills - charisma and etiquette. Understand what it means to treat all guests and coworkers with the utmost respect.

- Be comfortable wearing bright and vibrant clothing (to get an idea of our dress code check our Ig @MissLilys

- Knowledge of Jamaican cuisine and world rums is a bonus - must be ready to learn about these in detail.

We are a Jamaican restaurant and bar with a late night scene. We serve Jamaican cuisine. In the summer we have outdoor seating in the heart of the East Village.

We are located at 109 Avenue A, at 7th St - there is an OPEN-CALL Wednesday June 25th 2-5PM

Job Requirements & Expectations:

- 2 years of New York City or similar hospitality Bartending experience.
- Working knowledge of food, beverage, wine, cocktails and beer
- Ability to work efficiently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- High Levels of Genuine Hospitality
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Work collaboratively with support staff in marking, clearing and
maintaining bar & tables
- Settling payment transactions
- Willingness to Learn
- Complete opening and closing side work.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication skills.
- Relationship building with guests
- Making sure drinks & food are served in a timely manner
- Must be organized and have an extreme ability to multitask.
- Must be able to lift 50 Pounds and work while standing for long periods.
- Ability to climb and descend stairs often while working is a must
