Bar Back - Flexible Schedule, Voodoo Lounge

Job Description :

Serves patrons/peers by providing information/tools/supplies thats assists in the overall operation of the department; Stocks items before/during and after shifts. Assists servers and bartenders with cleaning, bussing, stocking, etc.; Delivers assistance to team with an upbeat, positive manner. Maintains a clean work area as well as cleans up spills, sweeps, mops, stocks etc.

Key Responsibilities :

• Maintains par levels of operating supplies and equipment. Ensures orders are checked in and placed in proper locations. Checks expiration dates and these items are checked in and reports items that are expired or about to expire.
• Ensures product is rotated to ensure items do not perish or expire.
• Ensures all items are clean and maintained, such as bus tubs, carts, mats, floors, drains, spills, etc.
• Ensures all health code standards are followed when using chemicals.
• Ensures sanitizing buckets are set up in each station allowing bartenders to clean their work areas as they go.
• Ensures all trash bins are removed and emptied and keeps trash and buss carts from over flowing. Cleans these periodically as needed to avoid items from becoming foul smell.
• Maintains clean work areas, sweeps and mops floors, cleans drains.
• Assists with deep cleaning, as well as cleaning and maintaining all equipment and coolers. Cleans spills.
• Welcomes and connects with any customer that requests their assistance, wither this guest is external or internal. Follows the Spotlight Attributes of Welcome, Upbeat and Positive, Delight the Customer, Provide a Warm Farewell and Overall moment of truth
• Ensures all employees have the tools and supplies they need to complete their job duties.
• Demonstrates just say yes behavior when taking care of employee needs.
• Performs cleaning tasks in accordance with the side duties/ daily rosters and cleaning standards, as well as works as a team player.
• Presents oneself professionally and demonstrates clear communication to all guests and peers. Accomplishes this by using the Spotlight Attributes which are, Welcome, Upbeat & Positive, Delight the Customer, Provide Warm Farewell and Overall Moment of Truth
• Follows standards for stocking, rotating and storing all products.
• Follows inventory and stocking guidelines.

• Learns and demonstrates all performance standards.
• Knows and promotes customer events and programs and can provide accurate information to our guests.
• Thanks Guests for coming in and invites them back.
• Arrives to work looking their personal best, with proper attire on. Uniform clean and pressed, with name tag and badge visible.
• Assists servers and Bartenders with tasks. Ensures both have the tools and items needed. .

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand or walk 8-10 hours at a time.
Must be able to bend, twist, turn, squat and rotate body.
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Must be able to work a fluctuating schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to continually stand and/or walk entire shift
