**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Guest Reception and Registration:** Greet all guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Facilitate check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring that guests feel valued and informed.
- **Reservation Management:** Handle phone and online reservations with accuracy and attention to detail. Modify or cancel reservations in line with company policies while maintaining an organized booking system.
- **Information and Assistance:** Act as the central source of information for guests, providing insights on hotel amenities, local attractions, and transportation options. Address all guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- **Problem Solving:** Respond to and resolve guest complaints or issues promptly, escalating to the appropriate manager when necessary, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- **Financial Transactions:** Manage cash, credit, and debit card transactions accurately. Reconcile daily accounts to ensure financial integrity and comply with company policies.
- **Communication and Coordination:** Maintain clear and effective communication with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure seamless guest services and resolve any operational issues.
- **Record Keeping:** Maintain accurate guest records, including personal details, billing information, and special requests, ensuring privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- **Safety and Security:** Uphold the hotel's security policies to safeguard guests and their belongings. Be vigilant and report any suspicious activity to management.
- **Administrative Duties:** Support hotel management with various administrative tasks, such as compiling reports, managing correspondence, and maintaining inventory of office supplies.
**Qualifications and Skills:**
- **Education and Experience:** High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
- **Technical Skills:** Proficient in using computer systems and reservation software. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite is an advantage.
- **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- **Interpersonal Skills:** Strong ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and personalities. Demonstrate a friendly and approachable attitude.
