Were looking for friendly, reliable, and energetic individuals to join our front-of-house team at our fast-paced taqueria. This is a guest-facing role that includes everything from taking orders and handling cash to setting up and closing the restaurant. If you take pride in clean spaces, quality service, and great tacos, we want to meet you!

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, take orders accurately, and communicate daily specials

• Operate the POS system efficiently; cash handling experience required

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of guest areas, including restrooms and patio

• Set up and break down tables, barrels, trash cans, and napkin holders both indoors and outdoors

• Keep bar station organized and stocked with drink batches, lime juice, sodas, and beer

• Support team stations as needed (salsa bar, drinks, food pickup) to ensure smooth service

• Clear and clean tables during and after service; return trays, dishes, and tools to the proper areas

• Follow closing procedures, including balancing register, restocking for the next shift, and waiting for manager or chef dismissal

Requirements

• Basic English communication skills (speaking and reading)

• Friendly attitude with a strong sense of hospitality and guest care

• Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift and move furniture and bar-related equipment

• Prior experience with order-taking and cash handling is required

• Previous service or taqueria experience is a plus, but not necessary

Compensation: Hourly ($19.00) plus tips
