Front Desk Receptionist

We are seeking a reliable and professional Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and contractors entering our facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining safety and security while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will monitor facility entry and exit points, enforce access protocols, and assist guests with professionalism and integrity. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Monitor entry and exit points of the facility to ensure only authorized personnel gain access
Check IDs and enforce access control policies for employees, visitors, and contractors
Greet and assist visitors, providing directions and answering questions while upholding security protocols
Monitor door security using badge swipe systems and video surveillance
Prevent operational disruption by identifying and addressing unauthorized personnel
Professionally interact with all levels of staff, guests, and external vendors
Utilize computer systems, access control platforms, and video monitoring tools
Remain alert and responsive while standing, walking, or performing physical tasks such as stooping and crouching for extended periods

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:
Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Previous experience working with external vendors or contractors
Familiarity with facility security and surveillance systems

Education:
High School

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods of time
Comfortable with stooping, crouching, and performing other physical activities
Proficient in using computers, security systems, and access control software
