The LDS Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining and cleaning client facilities. This role is crucial and requires high attention to detail in ensuring that the house is clean, well-maintained, and visually appealing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities of the LDS Housekeeper include but are not limited to:
Weekly full house cleaning:
Vacuum carpets and rugs
Mop hard surface floors
Dust all horizontal services: Windowsills, Shelving, Furniture, Light fixtures cobwebs, Check corners for cobwebs
Vacuum upholstered furniture (as needed) - Report any spots or stains
Clean all counter tops: Kitchen, Bathrooms, Laundry
Clean all bathrooms: Toilets, Sinks polish taps and drain plugs, Showers (Clean the glass doors in the owners suite shower), Replace towels and wash the ones that are out, and Mirrors
Clean glass: Glass doors into the office, Exterior door glass windows (Front door, Dining nook door, Owners suite deck door, check exterior windows and clean handprints etc. as needed no ladders or step stools
Clean doorknobs: Inspect doors and clean as necessary
Clean cabinets: Wipe door and drawer pulls, Clean cabinet doors and drawer fronts as needed
ADDITIONAL TASKS:
Laundry
Cook and serve meals
Run errands including grocery shopping, and provide transportation
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2-10 years of experience in housekeeping or related field.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols.
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Reliable transportation to run errands when necessary
Ability to read and follow product labels and safety data sheets (SDS).
Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with clients and team members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
Capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds of equipment or supplies.
Physical stamina to operate heavy floor care equipment for several hours.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently throughout the workday.
Manual dexterity to operate various tools and equipment.
Tolerance for exposure to cleaning chemicals and occasional loud noise from equipment.
Ability to work in various environmental conditions, including hot and cold temperatures.
