Cyds in the Park is looking to add a grill/fry cook for our full service restaurant. Our customers patronize our business repeatedly due to excellent customer satisfaction and our commitment to exceptional service standards. Join us to begin your career at Cyds in the Park. Job hours are afternoons + evenings Wednesday- Saturday. Position begins as part-time (25-28 hours) with full-time opportunity.

Job Responsibilities
  • Prepare dishes using our proven recipes.
  • Keep your work area clean and free of unsanitary items and objects; properly dispose of waste in appropriate receptacles.
  • Work alongside other team members to ensure streamlined service and a commitment to work together to achieve company goals.
  • Work with a team of cooks to do portion prep work for other shifts when needed.
  • Maintain utensils such as knives in safe and appropriate working condition as well as ensure that all utensils are clean before each use.
Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

  • Food Handlers Certification.
  • High Level of Professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills.
  • Ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment while standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to use food preparation equipment, including knives and other sharp objects.

Preferred:

  • At least 1 years of experience as a cook in a professional kitchen, including fryer + grill.
Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($15.00 - $18.00)
