As part of the horticulture crew, you'll get your hands dirty doing satisfying, hands-on work like:
  • Weeding and cleaning flower and shrub beds
  • Watering colorful hanging baskets downtown
  • Pruning shrubs and maintaining plant health
  • Brush cutting and clearing overgrowth

Are you intrigued? Come make a difference in Auburn this summer! Must be at least 16 years of age. Limited opportunities are available for applicants under 18 due to equipment and driving restrictions.
Preference will be given to applicants who are 18 years or older and possess a valid driver's license in good standing.

Must successfully pass the City's pre-employment background check, including driving abstract review (if applicable), and complete a baseline audiogram prior to start date.

SHOE REQUIREMENT : Steel-toed shoes required on first day of employment- furnished by the employee. May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee is required to maintain professional composure, tact, patience and courtesy at all times.
