Job Details Part-Time BOH/FOH Hybrid position available at Danke, a sandwich shop and wine bar in The Sterling Food Hall. The sister restaurant to the award-winning Table, Donkey and Stick, we have been in the food hall for the last eight years.Danke bakes all of its bread in-house on a daily basis, and prepares the majority of our menu items from scratch. We are seeking a cook to work 2-3 days a week, assisting with kitchen prep, making sandwiches on the line during our busy lunch service, and closing the line during evening shifts. The ideal candidate will be comfortable being cross-trained to work the register as well, so previous customer service experience is a plus. We pride ourselves on giving great service to regulars and new customers during our fast-paced, high-volume lunch service. Guest experience is a hybrid of fast-casual service at the cash register and counter service at our 12-seat bar.
We are currently looking for an outgoing, friendly, and detail-oriented line cook/cashier who has previous food prep and hospitality experience--must love food. 20-25 hrs/wk, $20+/hr after tips. Danke is open Monday-Friday, 10am-7pm. (No weekends or late nights!) Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs. Wine and beer knowledge a plus! Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($16.00 - $20.00)
