Restaurant Server
Position Summary
As Team Members of the Food and Beverage team, Restaurant Servers are CRCR Ambassadors and take personal ownership to ensure all their actions are in the best interest of the business. Restaurant Servers are responsible for actively taking orders, conducting full and complete food/beverage service, and monitoring Guests’ dining experience. They interact with dining room Guests in a polite, courteous manner to ensure gracious hospitality while anticipating Guests’ needs and providing personalized attention throughout the meal.
Position Functions
Essential Functions:
•Provide exceptional Guest service while maintaining a positive attitude.
•Promote the Players Club loyalty program to Guests
.•Acquire station assignments from the Host or management at the start of the work shift; properly complete all assigned opening and side work duties.
•Accurately check identifications of Guests who appear under 30 years of age and prevent underage service.
•Greet Guests immediately, make suggestions and answer questions regarding food, beverages, and service.
•Effectively present information in one-to-one and small group situations to Guests
.•Make recommendations for food and beverage menu items based on Guests’ preferences.
•Engage with Guests in a friendly, knowledgeable, and unobtrusive manner.
•Practice salesmanship to augment the dining experience without allowing Guests to over-order
.•Take and record food and beverage orders from Guests according to the dining sequence of service
.•Ensure all food and beverages are delivered and served promptly, garnished correctly, and meet quality/presentation standards.
•Monitor Guests for signs of intoxication and disruptive behavior, identify when to refuse alcohol service in a safe and courteous manner, and report to management.
•Properly present the Guest check and process payment for all food and beverages served.
•Provide attention to detail, including proper table settings, food presentation, and table side preparation
.•With direction from management, close the station at the end of the shift, completing all closing, side work, and checkout duties in a timely manner.
•Comply with the Department of Health and business sanitation standards
.•Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
•Must be at least 18/21 years of age, depending on the restaurant venue.
•1+ years in a similar role.
•Must possess or be able to complete RBS training and certification for alcohol service.
•Must possess or be able to complete ServSafe/Food Handler training and certification.
•Must have a comprehensive understanding of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials.
•Have basic math skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
•2+ years in a similar role
.•Bilingual is a plus.
•Sports knowledge as necessary.
