Pay Rate: $24.65/hr + 5% 2 nd Shift Differential ($25.89/hr + 5% 2 nd Shift Differential effective 10/1/2025)
Health and Welfare: $7.00/hr up to 40 hours per week to be used towards benefit premiums ($8.00/hr up to 40 hours per week effective 10/1/2025 to be used towards benefit premiums)
Shift Assignments are at the discretion of site management:
- 1st shift will be paid the base hourly rate.
- 2nd shift will be paid the base hourly rate of $24.65 per hour plus a 5% shift differential.
- 3rd shift will be paid the base hourly rate of $24.65 per hour plus a 10% shift differential.

Scope of Work:
The General Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in such trades such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
Responsibilities:
- Replacing electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
- Using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings.
- Repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets.
- Painting structures and equipment.
- Repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
- Replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles.
- Hanging doors and installing door locks.
- Replacing broken windowpanes.
- Performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
- Operates aerial equipment to reach elevated levels to perform maintenance.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to obtain and maintain interim secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.
- One year of related experience.
- Must have a basic knowledge of each craft trade which performs the individual functions for building operations, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
- Hazardous Weapons Cleanup training to include lead, gun powder, and frangible ammo clean up and proper health safety and disposal.
- Must have a basic knowledge of custodial, recycling, and working with hazardous materials.
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular basis.
- Works with systems and equipment in hard-to-reach places requiring standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, climbing and working in tight and uncomfortable positions.
- Must have endurance to perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time.
- Must be able to perform duties under adverse weather conditions (extreme cold / heat, etc.).
- Must be able to work alternate shift schedules when necessary to meet the mission requirements of the customer, to include weekends and holidays.
- Must be able to perform on-call duties when scheduled and report to work within one hour of notification.
