Position Summary
The Concierge isresponsible for delivering an exceptional guest service experience to allclientele that have interactions with City Winery. This individual serves as apoint of contact at the Box Office for purposes of general guest relations andsupport, ticketing, City Winery Rewards Program and City Winery merchandise.The Concierge team member is responsible for maximizing ticket and retailmerchandise sales, while serving as a brand ambassador of the Company.
Overview of Responsibilities
Correspond with guests in person, phone, and email
Manage in-person, online, and phone ticket sales
Handle all retail merchandise transactions,organization, sales, inventory, ordering needs, and upkeep
Maximize ticket sales and retail merchandise sales
Actively participate in and support box office staffduties as needed, including set up and breakdown of venue spaces
Assist guests with seat changes
Compile house and artist comps and arrange seatingappropriately
Handle troubleshooting with guests on ticketingpurchases
Close out and reconcile box office transactions
Arrange special care of VIPs, Investors, or otherguests who may receive gratis food or drink
Maintain a neat and tidy Concierge booth
Handle payment transactions and maintain accurate cashdrawer
Attend training courses, tastings, meetings, as needed
Maintain a knowledge of City Winery brand, history,culture, and programming, both in venue and restaurant
Other duties, tasks, projects as per business needs
Minimum Qualifications
2+ yearsprior experience in a concierge, box office, or customer service role in ahospitality setting, and/or relevant experience
Ability toconsistently deliver high-quality guest experiences, exceed guest expectations,and strive to create a memorable guest experience
Strong workethic, calm demeanor with customer-focused approach, and immaculate attentionto detail
Effectivecommunication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal skills and aproven ability to build positive relationships with coworkers and guests
Proficientcomputer skills
Ability towork both independently and in a team environment
Ability to worka flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
