Groundskeeper - Trim Team

JOB TITLE: Groundskeeper

DEPARTMENT: Grounds

REPORTS TO: Director of Grounds

HOURS: 7:30am - 3:30pm (During high heat, work 6:30am - 2:30pm)

TYPE: Full time position

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for Twin Lakes Community campus grounds maintenance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Trim shrubs and trees
• Mow turf
• Trim and edge turf
• Use blower to remove grass clippings and leaves
• Maintain paths, sidewalks, or road surfaces
• Perform ground maintenance duties, using a tractor equipped with attachments, such as: loader with bucket or grapple
• Operate tractors or trucks equipped with snow removal equipment to keep roads cleared during inclement weather
• Shovel sidewalks during snow events
• Make minor repair to mowers and other equipment
• Sharpen and clean tools
• Erect and place various Christmas decorations throughout the campus
• Help with resident trash pick up as required
• May be required to perform other duties in keeping with the nature of this position which will not significantly alter the job requirements.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• One or more years of experience in landscaping preferred.
