We are seeking friendly, knowledgable, and professional individuals to be a part of our growing team at The Bougie Foodie! We're looking for individuals who are energetic & enthusiastic, take direction well, work cleanly and efficiently, have a strong sense of urgency, and an eye for detail. Must have reliable transportation to and from work, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
At least two years of experience in customer service is required for the cashier/barista role. This position requires a flexible schedule, with the ability to work nights and weekends.
CASHIER / BARISTA | Part-Time
Because we're counter service, our cashier/baristas are so than people behind a register they're the heart of our front-of-house team. From taking orders to preparing our sweet treats, making drinks, and greeting every customer when they walk through our door, every moment is about delivering exceptional hospitality. Our FOH team sets the tone for The Bougie Foodie experience.
Barista/Cashiers start at $16/hour during training, and once you're fully trained, you'll earn base pay plus tips. At this point in time, we can offer between 10-20 hours per week. This role offers flexibility, growth, and a chance to truly shine in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
As a Barista/Cashier, you will:
Greet and engage with guests, creating genuine connections and providing top-notch service
Take guest orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience
Cross-train and perform duties across all FOH tasks, including fulfilling delivery app orders, barista service, and basic cleaning tasks
Assist with restocking the display cases, cleaning, and maintaining ananized workspace throughout the shift
Be responsible for opening and/or closing tasks as needed
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations and a positive atmosp
Be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed (think restocking supplies, moving/picking up cases of ingredients, etc.)
Respond quickly to guest needs or issues, resolving them with professionalism and care
