Job Title: Bartender
s To: General Manager
Employment Type: Hourly Non-Exempt
Base Compensation: CoP Min Wage
Position Summary
As a bartender, you will be responsible for engaging in all aspects of the bar operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer experiences. You will handle guest interactions and cash handling, while promoting a positive environment and delivering expertise knowledge of various cocktails and beverages.
Duties and Responsibilities
Beverage Program
Demonstrate an understanding of drink making and basic beer knowledge
Prepare and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages promptly and accurately, while maintaining high quality and consistency
Follow all established recipes, measurements, and presentation standards to ensure the quality of the beverages served
Provide suggestions for ways to improve the beverage program and guest experience
Customer Service:
Foster a customer-focused environment, ensuring prompt, friendly, and efficient service at the bar
Address customer concerns orplaints in a professional and timely manner, and work closely with the front-of-house team to maintain overall guest satisfaction
Contribute to a collaborative, positive work environment
Compliance and Safety:
Followpliance with all applicable liquor laws, health regulations, and licensing requirements
Skills and Qualifications
Current OLCC license
Previous experience in a a bar or restaurant setting is preferred
Proficient knowledge of alcoholic beverages, mixology, and current industry trends
Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to handle customerplaints or issues with professionalism
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Work in a bar setting with exposure to heat, steam, sharp utensils, and heavy kegs
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to amodate operational needs
Extended periods of standing and walking
Frequent lifting and carrying heavy pots, pans, and ingredients up to 75 pounds
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines
Endurance and stamina to handle long shifts and demanding culinary tasks
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for tasks such as mixing and stirring cocktails, handling cash, operating POS systems, or adjusting equipment settings
