Old Log Cabin Distillery, a local small craft distillery, is looking to add a highly motivated, personable, spirits enthusiast to join the team as a Bartender to make cocktails, give tastings, tours and events. To be a successful candidate for this position, you must be a skilled bartender as well as display excellent working knowledge of spirits and have an excitement for the distillation process. This is a part time position (16-20 hours per week) that will require availability Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours available with bottling and labeling production and picking up shifts.
Old Log Cabin Distillery, provides the highest quality, locally crafted spirits. We are a family-managed business with apetitivepensation package and a supportive team environment.
Job Responsibilities :
-Educate guests about Old Log Cabin products
-Develop a keen knowledge of our brands
-Understand the barrel aging process
-Facilitate tasting flights for guests
-Lead groups on distillery tours
-Mix classic and house specialty cocktails
-Provide excellent guest service
-Maintain bar cleanliness
Overall Criteria:
- Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday
-Ability to work the bar independently and handle the bar and the room on your own
-Great customer service skills required
-Passion for spirits required
-Familiarity with Washington distilleries, wineries, and breweries a plus
-Knowledge of spirits and cocktails and the desire to learn and expand knowledge of distillation
-Able to handle large groups on your own
-Proficientputer skills
-Organized
-Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
-Ability to stand for extended periods of time
-MAST license required
-Must have own reliable transportation
-Cleaning Required
