mama restaurant group is now hiring server/bartenders for our flagship restaurant mamnoon on Capitol Hill!
We believe that all positions contribute to the success of the restaurant and we recognize that our people care about each other's financial well being, too - tfore, we operate with a Service Charge Pool!
Mamnoon offers a creative menu, executed by a hardworking, professional, and talented group of people. We provide service in a beautiful and weing atmosp. This role is the ideal opportunity for anyone looking to expand their skill set and palate with Levantine flavors or improve their resume by working with a well established and local restaurant institution in Capitol Hill. In this fast paced, high energy environment, you will pick up the skills and experience very quickly to further your career.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional guest service with a truly weing and hospitality focused energy
Contribute to a positive, high energy work environment that is inclusive to all coworkers.
Be a part of a bar team that really takes ownership of the program and works together to adapt to issues and solves problems within the parameters put in place.
Build rapport with guests while maintaining a sense of urgency to keep up with the flow of service.
maintain the code and processes that are put in place by the General Manager, AGM, and the bar lead in regards to cleanliness, cocktail execution, and conduct behind the bar or on the floor.
Craft high quality house cocktails with consistency and help create new innovative cocktails for our menu
The ideal candidates possess:
2 + years of server/bartender experience in a high volume or casual fine dining environment (preferred, but not required!)
Knowledge of spirits, modern cocktail culture, and wine
The ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
Excellentmunication andanization skills
Energetic style of teamwork and hospitality
Able to lift and move product, including cases of liquor and kegs
