We are a vibrant andmunity-oriented brunch cafe located in the Hillsdale neighborhood of SW Portland. Committed to fostering a warm and inclusive atmosp, we prioritize quality service and delicious, locally-sourced cuisine. We are a tipless restaurant. We believe in fairpensation for all our staff, fostering a culture w teamwork and excellence are celebrated. We are open 8am to 3pm everyday, so no evenings will be required, but weekends are a must.
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and personable individual to join our team as a Server. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Greeting guests warmly and seating them in a timely manner.
Taking food and beverage orders with attention to detail and accuracy.
Rmending menu items and offering insights into ingredients and preparation methods.
Delivering food and beverages promptly and efficiently.
Anticipating guests' needs and providing attentive service throughout their meal.
Processing payments and handling transactions with precision.
Collaborating with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
Maintaining cleanliness andanization in the dining area, including resetting tables and assisting with general cleaning tasks.
Upholding ourmitment to sustainability by adhering to recycling andposting practices.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years previous experience in a busy restaurant setting preferred.
Knowledge of food and beverage service etiquette.
Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude and a genuine passion for providing exceptional service.
Weekends are required. Full or part time schedules can be amodated.
Food Handler's Permit and OLCC required.
