Maitre'D Needed for Upscale River Oaks Brasserie

Brasserie 19 is a bustling upscale eatery located in Houston's River Oaks District. We are currently in search of energetic & extremely personable individuals to fill the position of Maitre'D/Host. Ideal candidates should be oozing with hospitality & have the ability to thrive in a very dynamic & busy environment. You should have a natural ability & desire to be amodating. You love to go above & beyond to make people feel invited, wee & special. This can be an entry level position however, previous experience in the service industry is desired. This position is extremely demanding of focus & proactivity. This in not a passive hosting position. The clientele has a keen eye for true hospitality and a very discerning taste for service & professionalism. We expect grand gestures & top notch performance. No shrinking violets need . If you are a take charge & take care kind of person, you will make a worthy candidate.

Both Full-time & Part-time schedules are weed.

Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Answering phones

Warmly greeting guests upon arrival

Making reservations in the reservation system

Seating guests

Taking note of special reservation requests

Ability to recognize regular returning guests & remember their names

Ability to run the reservation system & manage the flow of seating

Clearlymunicating guests' needs to management & service staff

Maintaining section assignments & an even flow of guests to ensure the best experience possible

Multitasking in a hectic busy environment

Making guests feel weed & special

Understanding guests expectations & exceeding them

Ability to work long hours on your feet
