Job Details OyBar is looking for a Day Prep/Prep Lead to join our team! We focus on delivering consistently exceptional dining hospitality experiences with a focus on memorable dishes, fresh, carefully-sourced, ingredients and innovative techniques. We are currently seeking an experienced Daytime Prep Cook and/or Prep Lead to join our dynamic kitchen team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare meats, fish, sauces, condiments, aiolis, stocks, pickles and other food items to support daily operations.
- Receive and inspect orders and supplies, ensuring that all items are accounted for and of high quality.
- Organize and maintain refrigeration and storage areas to ensure a clean and efficient workspace.
- Supervise and train dish/prep team to maximize daily output and enhance their skills and ensure quality standards are met.
- Set up and organize cooking stations for service, ensuring all necessary items are prepared and ready.
- Communicate effectively with the chef, general manager, bar staff, and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.
- Be prepared to assist with dishwashing and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
