Carthage Center is hiring a Porter in Carthage, NY.

DUTIES:

• Maintains the facility cleanliness by sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Removing and cleani ng trash
• Refreshing bath areas by cleaning toilet, and sinks; refilling hand and toilet paper dispensers
• Maintaining furnishings by dusting and polishing furniture; cleaning and wiping glass surfaces
• Keeping supplies ready by restocking housekeeping supplies throughout the facility
• Keeping equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting, preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
• Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures
• Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities

• One-year experience minimum
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to work as a team member
• Must be able to work weekends
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently
• Positive and upbeat attitude
