Maintenance Technician**

**Job Description**

**Responsibilities**

+ Install and maintain equipment, ensuring all machinery is operational.

+ Conduct inspections, lubrication, preventive, and predictive maintenance for production equipment.

+ React to unplanned maintenance needs and provide general maintenance for utilities, buildings, and grounds.

+ Develop and enhance maintenance methods and procedures while promoting a team environment.

+ Participate in the quality, inspection, assembly, integration, testing, and installation of equipment.

+ Maintain documentation such as test histories, ensuring they are complete and up-to-date.

+ Analyze and solve electrical and mechanical problems to optimize equipment productivity.

+ Recommend modifications or replacements of equipment to support demand or improve productivity.

+ Perform all work safely, adhering to lock out/tag out requirements.

+ Manage Environmental Management System functions as identified or assigned.

+ Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

+ Monitor workmanship and work instructions for Quality System compliance.

+ Conduct all preventive maintenance and assist operators and machinists as required.

+ Advise supervisors on conduct that may violate rules, policies, and procedures.

+ Recognize potential dangers and utilize safe work practices.

+ Utilize behavior-based safety methods to sustain a safe working environment.

+ Maintain the highest ethical and work standards, promoting the same in others.

**Essential Skills**

+ 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ 2+ years of CNC maintenance experience.

+ Experience with repairing Fanuc and/or Siemens controllers.

+ PLC troubleshooting experience (inputs and outputs).

+ Blueprint and schematic interpretation experience.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Welding (MIG and/or TIG) experience.

+ Manual fabrication skills (manual mills, lathes, drill presses).

+ Facilities maintenance experience (HVAC, Boilers).

**Work Environment**

Our facility is climate-controlled, organized, and clean throughout, providing a comfortable and efficient work environment. The work schedule is from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM on the 1st shift.

This is a Permanent position based out of Wheeling, Illinois.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
