Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on all plant machinery including cutting lines, tempering furnaces, CNC machines, polishing equipment, and automated handling systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues to ensure minimal disruption to production.
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions to avoid recurrence of equipment failures.
  • Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and documentation in line with regulatory and company standards.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to optimize equipment performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Determine material, parts and equipment to be used for repair and communicate needs to supervisor.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, order replacements, and ensure critical components are readily available.
  • Supervise contractors and vendors performing maintenance or installations on-site.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
  • Support commissioning and installation of new equipment and modifications to existing systems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), 5S, and lean manufacturing projects.
