Job Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about wine and eager to grow in the hospitality industry. No prior sommelier experience is requiredjust a strong interest in wine, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to learning. Full training on our systems and approach will be provided.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the selection, management, and rotation of wine inventory

Maintain up-to-date records of inventory and assist in ordering based on par levels and sales trends

Build and nurture relationships with current and prospective wine vendors and distributors

Stay current on wine trends and emerging producers to help evolve the wine program

Work closely with FOH and management to ensure wine service is aligned with the guest experience

Participate in wine tastings, staff education, and training sessions

Support the overall service team when needed during service

Qualifications:

Passion for wine, curiosity, and a willingness to learn

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized

Professional communication skills, especially in dealing with vendors and team members

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (cases of wine) and stand for extended periods

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
