We are actively seeking an accomplished Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at a prestigious private school dining hall in Hagerstown, MD.
This role is perfect for a culinary professional with over 2 years of experience in batch cooking for over 300 covers daily, adept in display cooking, and skilled in production management, but will train the right person.
Essential qualities include strong organizational skills, a commitment to cleanliness, and a broad culinary repertoire, particularly in international cuisines. The position also involves crucial responsibilities in ordering and inventory management, supporting our Head Chef to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
We are open 7 days a week and strive to create a schedule that works for everyone on the team. The typical hours for this position are 11:00 AM- 7:30 PM, but the days may vary.
