We are seeking Front of House Team Members for our restaurant to help us create an experience for the community by sharing irresistible food and Aloha Spirit. Company Summary: Hello Hilo is a new, fast casual restaurant bringing Hawaii-inspired eats & treats to Gainesville, GA. Developed by the Taira family, founders of KING'S HAWAIIAN, Hello Hilo is named for Hilo, HI where Robert R. Taira opened his first bakery more than 70 years ago. This oasis destination will offer a refreshing Hawaiian island experience in Northeast Georgia with a unique and delicious menu served with the 'Aloha Spirit'. Job Summary: A Front of House Team Member is responsible for delivering the aloha experience and irresistible food and drink to all guests who choose to experience Hello Hilo through the dining room. In addition, Drive Thru team members will transact orders, and present food to Responsibilities: Responsibilities for this position include but aren't limited to: Follow all Steps of Service to exceed all guest expectations throughout their Aloha Experience Engage every guest with a genuine Aloha Spirit Answer all guest questions using extensive culture and menu knowledge Process all guest transactions quickly Execute and serve irresistible or Ono food that exemplifies the true Hawaiian experience Delight the guest by creating small moments of joy Thank the guest and invite them back soon Use restaurant technology to correctly calculate the cost of products, process transactions and return change when required by the payment method Complete side work and work in cross-trained positions when needed Maintain an excellent level of food, service, health, and safety standards to ensure safety for all team members and guests Skills/Experience: At least 1 year of experience in restaurant operations or customer service capabilities Proficient in English with clear verbal and written communication skills Basic math and computing skills Must thrive in a fast-paced team environment Must be flexible on schedule and process, able to pivot and change easily Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time during shift Ability to arrive on time ready to work for all assigned shifts including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Hello Hilo is an equal opportunity employer.
