Initial placement within the salary range is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills, and experience. • Needs little to no supervision

• Ability to follow all production lists and ensure orders are put away to HWC standards when the Pastry Chef is not present.

• Ability to monitor and/or maintain quality control standards.

• Cross-trained in every outlet in the bakery with phenomenal consistency

• Excels in time management

• Ability to prepare and bake a variety of pastries, rolls and/or other baked goods.

• Knowledge of maintenance and care of culinary facilities, equipment, supplies, and materials.

• Knowledge of food preparation and presentation methods, techniques, and quality standards.

• Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.

• Ability to assist with team through production lists and duties when Pastry Chef is not present

• Can take an active approach and execute banquets when pastry chef is not present

• Assists Pastry Chef on executing new menu ideas

• Ability to create different display cakes and showpieces

• Must be 18 years of age

• Knowledge of applicable food preparation methods and measures for assigned function.

• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good oral communication skills and ability to understand and follow direction.
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
