Full-Charge Housekeeper For Fine Greenwich Home Are you a meticulous and dedicated Housekeeper seeking a long-term role in a beautiful Greenwich, CT residence? Our client is looking for an experienced, professional, and cheerful individual to join her team as her long-term Housekeeper retires. You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the home. This includes taking immaculate care of fine furnishings, antiques, and high-end materials, along with general cleaning, detailed laundry, and some kitchen duties. We are looking for a self-starter with impeccable standards, strong organizational skills, and a positive demeanor. The principal is at the residence seasonally and there is a team at the residence. There is plenty of down time to tackle the deep cleaning projects. This is a great opportunity for a Stew or Chief Stew seeking a land-based role. Qualifications: Proven experience with verifiable references in a similar role within a fine home or on a private yacht. Enjoys caring for a fine home - a great homemaker. Expertise in caring for delicate items (crystal, silver, fine linens, artwork). Ability to work independently and collaboratively with existing staff. Long-term intent. A valid driver's license and dependable vehicle are required. The ability to cook a few lovely meals is a major plus Schedule: Generally, Monday to Friday daytime hours, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. When the principal is in residence there will be some longer days and weekend hours to assist with entertaining. During these times your daily schedule will shift so you must have flexibility - we are happy to explain this to you. The principal will balance the longer weeks with some shorter weeks when not in residence. Compensation: Compensation of $45-$50/hour. This can go higher if you are an excellent cook capable of preparing meals for the principal when they are in residence.
