Position Overview: We are looking for a Captain with a deep understanding of service and guest experience to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a confident, polished presence on the floor, be a natural leader, and demonstrate a refined palate and command of wine and cocktail service. This role is central to maintaining the high standards of Le Chenes dining room.
This is a leadership role for hospitality professionals looking to grow within a serious service-driven team.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a section of the dining room with grace, control, and precision.
Provide exceptional table-side service, including wine and cocktail recommendations, menu guidance, and pacing oversight.
Collaborate closely with sommeliers, bartenders and kitchen staff to ensure seamless and memorable guest experiences.
Maintain fluency in all menus (food, wine, cocktail), and uphold the highest standards of hospitality.
Resolve guest concerns with professionalism, discretion, and poise.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Captain or Lead Server in high-end or fine dining restaurants.
Extensive knowledge of wine and cocktail service ; WSET or bar experience is a plus.
Comfort in high-pressure environments with a calm and composed demeanor.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
