Food Runner / Packer Needed

Amigo's Mexican Cuisine is looking for a food runner and to go order packer

Job Title: Food Packer & Runner
Compensation: $18.04/hour + tips

Position Type: Part-Time Only (Nights & Weekends Required)
Reports To: Front of House Manager / Shift Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Food Packer & Runner to join our team. This dual-role position plays a key part in delivering exceptional service by ensuring to-go orders are packed accurately and promptly, and that plated meals are delivered efficiently to dine-in guests. The ideal candidate is fast, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.

This is a part-time position and requires availability on nights and weekends. Please do not apply unless you are available to work during those times.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately pack to-go orders with care, ensuring completeness, quality, and proper packaging
* Verify food presentation and temperature before packing or running items
* Deliver food from the kitchen to dining room tables promptly and courteously
* Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to coordinate timing and special requests
* Provide basic guest assistance and direct more complex inquiries to appropriate staff
* Maintain a clean and organized packing station and assist in restocking supplies
* Perform side work duties such as refilling condiments, organizing packaging materials, wiping surfaces, and restocking service areas
* Follow all food safety and sanitation protocols

Qualifications:

* Prior experience in a restaurant or fast-paced food service environment preferred
* Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
* Friendly, team-oriented attitude with a strong sense of urgency
* Ability to lift trays and stand/walk for extended periods of time
* Must be available to work nights and weekends
* Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
