Here is what you will be doing each day:
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you'll lead and support the housekeeping team to ensure our guest rooms and public areas are consistently clean, safe, and welcoming. You'll play a hands-on role in maintaining service standards, supporting your team, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise housekeeping staff with clear communication, ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback to maintain high standards and team efficiency.
- Inspect guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house, and turndown service for cleanliness and safety. Ensure compliance with health, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Assign daily tasks and special projects to team members, considering guest requests and priority areas.
- Distribute cleaning supplies and amenities at the start of each shift while managing inventory and minimizing waste.
- Address guest requests and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Log and manage Lost and Found items accurately and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Enforce emergency procedures and safety protocols to protect guests, staff, and property.
- Maintain regular attendance and be available for assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Qualifications:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example.
- A hands-on, team-first attitude and the ability to jump in when needed.
- Professional appearance and conduct.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable using cleaning products and working in a fast-paced environment.
- Spanish bilingual is a plus.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

For applicants who will be working in NYC, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $24.00 per hour; for applicants who will be working in New York, the anticipated compensation range for the position is $24.00 per hour. The salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, work location, etc. Crescent Hotels is a multi-state employer and the salary ranges indicated herein may not reflect positions that work only in other states.
