Custodian III (Part Time)

Billings School District 2 is seeking a Custodian III.

Schedule: Twelve-Month Position; Monday through Friday, Four (4) hours per day, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Custodian III, $19.08 per hour for 90 working day probationary period, then $21.20 per hour.

Qualifications:

- Requires a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and supplies;

- Ability to perform heavy physical activity and operate cleaning equipment;

- Ability to maintain effective work relationships; one year in appropriate custodian work preferred;

- High School graduate/equivalent required.

- Pre-employment physicals are required for this position and paid for by the District.

Examples of Duties:

- Supervise custodial personnel.

- Collect and dispose of garbage.

- Sweep and dust mop rooms.

- Clean, repair, change filters, and maintain equipment.

- Strip and scrub floors.

- Finish and refinish all types of floors.

- Perform groundskeeping and irrigation.

- Clean school grounds.

-Wash interior and exterior glass, wash walls, wash exterior of the building.

- Clean bathrooms daily.

- Report any damage, malfunctions of equipment, and any other information needed by head custodian.

- Performs duties and related tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
