Our Receptionist receives callers at facility, determines nature of business, and directs visitors or vendors to destination while protecting confidentiality of residents. Answers phones and obtains pertinent information and transfers call to appropriate person or voice mail. Use computer to obtain or transfer messages. May work in office of facility or in lobby, may perform a variety of clerical duties. May collect and distribute mail and messages. Work directly with administrator to decrease number of interruptions by taking messages or referring calls or visitors to others who can assist. As the first contact in the facility, it is imperative that the receptionist has a pleasant and positive attitude with a neat and clean appearance as this is the first impression of visitors and potential residents. Must follow HIPPA guidelines
Qualifications:
- Minimum age of 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors and co-workers.
- Adhering to HIPAA regulations, OSHA regulations and state and federal guidelines.
- Ability to follow supervisor's instructions in a safe and adequate manner
