SOHN is a Korean-inspired all-day cafe in Dogpatch, serving Korean American food, coffee, matcha and wine in a thoughtfully designed space. From a morning matcha to an evening glass of makgeolli, SOHN is a place to gather, unwind, and enjoy food made with intention. At its core, SOHN celebrates (sohn-mat) the taste of hand that comes from heartfelt, handcrafted cooking.
This August, were opening our doors in Dogpatch and were building a team of thoughtful, passionate individuals who care about creating meaningful guest experiences. In addition to our cafe, SOHN will feature a small retail shop and host private events and workshops that reflect our values and community. About the Role Were looking for line cooks to join our opening team for both daytime and evening shifts . Ideal candidates are curious, collaborative, and detail-oriented. Youll work closely with our chef team to execute Korean American dishes with care and consistency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
Execute prep and service of all menu items with precision and consistency
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient station throughout service
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
Support team members and contribute to a positive kitchen culture
Participate in the ongoing refinement of recipes and prep processes
What Were Looking For
12 years of experience in a professional kitchen (preferred but not required)
Strong knife skills and familiarity with basic cooking techniques
A proactive, team-first attitude
Availability for daytime and/or evening shifts , including weekends
Compensation & Benefits
