Compensation: $72,000 to $75,000 per year , Full-Time Flexible schedules required: days, nights, weekends, holidays. What you will be doing- Oversees all aspects of Restaurant, Bar and Banquets including set-up, food presentation, serving, and cleanup, while focusing on quality presentation and customer service.
- Effectively communicate during the course of the function with the kitchen, service, beverage, conventions services, and engineering staffs, as well as the guest host to ensure timely execution of events, quality service, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, local safety and health regulations and corporate standards.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and linens for functions with approval of the GM. As well as assisting in the ordering of Food and Beverage (F&B) supplies, cleaning supplies and uniforms.
- Supervises daily F&B shift operation and monitors compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures.
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
- Motivate Restaurant, Bar and Banquet staff and maintain a cohesive team.
- Ascertain Restaurant, Bar and Banquet training needs and provide such training.
- Be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgment.
- Suggestively sell menu items, beverages and wines.
- Input and access information into P.O.S. system.
- Work without direct supervision.
- Supervises staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.
- Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Understands employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
- Creates and nurtures a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork and passion for providing service.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the brand specific service culture.
- Maintains and monitors occupancy data and assists in maximizing F&B revenue.
Requirements include basic reading, writing and math skills. You may be required to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays. This job requires ability to perform the following: regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently standing up and moving about the work area, handling objects and equipment to help maintain the facility, frequently bending, stooping and kneeling, working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment found in that of a hotel/kitchen environment.
Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
Minimum of 2 years in a hotel environment and Restaurant Management.
Similar brand experience and/or Hilton experience highly preferred.
Food Handling Certification.
RBC Certification.
Banquets Background, Highly Preferred.
Ability to lead Revenue and Sales disciplines.
