Job Details The Wall Street Hotel is hiring a Lead Pastry Line Cook to join our award-winning team. This role works closely with our Executive Chef and Corporate Pastry Chef to deliver a refined, seasonal dessert program that reflects our commitment to flavor, technique, and hospitality.Were looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of their station, and brings care and consistency to every plate.
Responsibilities:
- Execute daily mise en place for plated desserts and morning pastries
- Lead dinner service on the pastry station with precision and efficiency
- Oversee production of and produce creams, sauces, jams, choux, and other core pastry components
- Maintain a clean, organized, food-safe work environment
- Support ordering, inventory, and production scheduling
- Communicate proactively with chefs and support team training when needed
- 3+ years of pastry experience in a professional kitchen or bakery
- Strong technical foundation: choux, creams, chocolate, meringues
- Attention to detail in shaping, finishing, and plating
- Ability to follow recipes and work efficiently under pressure
- Team-oriented with clear communication and a positive attitude
- Full-time availability, including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of food safety and proper storage practices
- $23$25/hour (based on experience)
