Senior Line Cook Needed

The Roost is seeking a Senior Line Cook for corporate catering operations. We are a small business catering to offices, etc, around the Bay Area for lunch Monday-Friday.

The Roost is the sister restaurant to Merchant Roots and features ancho mustard baked chicken. We also make the well known brown butter cookies from Merchant Roots here.

Seeking a self sufficient person to for an line cook/prep/expo role, Monday-Friday 6-2:30 or 7-3:30 depending on how early our orders are that day.

Mornings would be printing and organizing our orders, followed by some helping in the kitchen boxing up meals, expediting the orders to our delivery drivers and helping to prep food/prepare for the following day. We have a secondary all-cold menu that you would be in charge of. It's not super hard, just detail oriented. Current staff has been here for years and work very well together.

Basic technology skills- email, printing labels, texting- required.

Role includes full health benefits, matching 401(k), 10 days paid vacation plus some holidays paid and a set, predictable, normal work week with evenings and weekends off always.
