Reports to the Sous Chef Manager.Washes, peels, slices and mixes vegetables, fruits, meats, cheeses and other ingredients for salads, cold plates, side dishes, entrees, appetizers and garnishesFollows recipes and complies with portion sizes, quality standards, department rules and procedures and Department of Health regulationsCleans all utensils, preparation equipment and counters required for productionPerforms other duties as required or assignedQualifications1+ year of kitchen experienceBasic math skillsGood knife skills and finger dexterity to use small tools and utensils adeptlyHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredJob RequirementsAvailability to work onsite with a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and exert well-paced mobilityAbility to spend up to 8 hours standing or walking in a kitchen and restaurant environmentAbility to work with commercial equipment including stand mixers, ovens, torches, etc.Compensation: This position pays a base rate of $16.50 - $19 per hour.Additional InformationBenefits and PerksMedical, Dental, Vision InsurancePaid Time OffPaid Parental Leave401K with match or RRSPBonus programFree family meal dailyDiscounts at EatalyClasses on products and Italian cuisineReferral bonus programand more!
