Do you have reliable transportation to use for picking up supplies as needed? If so, we want to hear from you! **This is a Drug Free Workplace** Job Requirements: - High school diploma or GED required - 2 years' experience in custodial, janitorial and building maintenance - Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems - Experienced user of standard hand and power tools - To lift and move 50 lbs., climb ladders and perform labor intensive tasks - Valid Driver's license, and dependable transportation required (to pick up supplies) - To pass DMV records check - To pass background check - To work a flexible schedule, hours vary based on the needs of the church with some split shift requirements - Shift flexibility-some evenings and/or weekend work will be required - Customer service experience- fluent in English Job Duties: - Complete a safety perimeter check Monday- Friday 7am-8am - Clean the Preschool Sunday-Thursday at 4pm - Follow instructions on Maintenance work orders - Identify maintenance and or safety concerns that need addressed at the facility to bring to leadership - Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment - Maintain a clean, organized work environment - Maintain supplies needed and drive your vehicle to obtain supplies when needed (fuel reimbursement provided) - Move furniture and prepare facility for special events - Clean and maintain the facility professional appearance - Report any unsafe or facility concerns to leadership promptly - Other duties as assigned for the needs of the church Hours and Pay: 35 hours a week.
