HIRING - Full-time Light Housekeeper and Cook Needed!

Location: Los Altos, California
Schedule: The preferred Full-time schedule is Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 6:00 pm or 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. The clients may consider an earlier start for the right person.
Children: 2 school aged children.
Duties: Daily cooking responsibilities will include weekly meal planning and grocery shopping, putting away grocery deliveries, washing and chopping fruits and vegetables, and preparing family dinners and after-school snacks with a focus on fresh ingredients. Light housekeeping duties will encompass family laundry, daily tidying and organizing, maintaining household supplies, and running errands such as dropping off dry cleaning or shopping at Costco. Occasional assistance with picking up or dropping off the children from school or activities may be requested; the clients are able to provide a vehicle for work-related use.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will take a proactive approach to their work and enjoy the responsibility of maintaining a clean and organized home. They should be comfortable in the kitchen preparing simple, healthy meals and able to coordinate a weekly meal plan that aligns with the familys schedule. While formal childcare is not part of the role, occasional driving may be requested in a backup capacity. The clients are seeking a long-term fit and describe themselves as down-to-earth people with a good sense of humor. The clients employ deep cleaners to handle the bulk of the cleaning, and the light Housekeeper will manage the day to day upkeep.

Benefits: This position is year round and offers paid vacation, paid holidays, and paid sick days. Additionally the client will be using a payroll service.
Pet Details: 15-year-old Golden Doodle.
