Responsibilities:
- Moves with a sense of urgency by cleaning and clearing tables of used glassware, plate ware, silverware etc. Prepares and maintains dining room by stocking all necessary supplies throughout shift. Interacts with guests as they arrive and as they leave the restaurant to ensure positive dining experience.
- Maintains walkways, common areas, wait stations and restrooms. Keeps a clean and sanitary bussing station. Completes all opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
- Maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils in accordance to specifications as necessary. Supports wait staff by assisting them with delivery of food and retrieval of any supplies they may require.
- Moves tables, chairs and floor plans as needed.
- Promote and provide extraordinary guest service for both internal and external guests; answer questions, offer information, and provide assistance in a courteous manner.
- Understand and demonstrate the proper use of safety practices and ensure department standards are maintained and safety policies are upheld.
- Monitor and maintain a safe and secure environment for both team members and guests of all ages, following all company guidelines and protocols.
- Identify, de-escalate, and resolve conflicts or disturbances professionally and effectively to maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Provide a positive and welcoming experience for guests of all ages while maintaining composure during difficult interactions.
- Maintain a high level of trust and integrity to promote a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers and colleagues of all ages.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years older
- Valid California Food Handler required before first day
Pay:
- $19 per hour + tips
