Job Details Job Summary:The Lead Host is the face of our guest experience responsible for creating warm, welcoming first impressions and ensuring smooth front-of-house operations. This role oversees the host team, manages reservations and seating flow, and collaborates closely with managers to maintain exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:Greet all guests with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Manage the host stand, waitlists, and reservation system efficiently.
Lead and coach the host team to ensure smooth and consistent guest experiences.
Communicate effectively with managers, servers, and kitchen staff regarding seating flow and guest needs.
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints with professionalism and care.
Assign sections to servers and ensure balanced seating rotations.
Maintain a clean and organized front entrance and host area.
Assist with training and onboarding new hosts.
Monitor dining room pace and provide real-time feedback to optimize guest flow.
Support in opening and closing duties related to the front of house.
Previous experience as a host or in customer service (lead or supervisory experience preferred).
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Familiarity with reservation platforms (, Resy) is a plus.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
